Vintage Clip Art- Seashells

Yesterday evening we had a huge dust storm. I took these photos with my iphone as it was coming in.
And of course my bf had to go outside to "experience it." I'm pretty sure guys never fully grow up.I can only imagine that this is a tiny amount of what the people experienced during the dust bowl. Anyway, we don't have a beach close by but now we have plenty of sand. I thought these shell images would go perfectly with today's sand/dirt theme.

This was taken in Phoenix, AZ. We get these dust storms every summer but they usually aren't this dramatic.

I saw that on TV. What a trip! My husband likes to go outside during hurricanes, dumb.

We saw this on the national news tonight. It's called a "haboob" or something like that, right? My parents were glued to the TV watching it, because Mesa has become their second home (they spend 6 months of the year there). They haven't experienced one of these storms first-hand, but I bet my dad would be outside watching it. He's 75. LOL!

I saw this on our national news last night here in Australia. Incredible photos and a time lapsed video. Your place must be blanketed with dust.
